First Service At Eagle Nest Ministries
Eagle Nest Ministries will hold its first service Sunday at 1302 Denim Drive, Erwin. The pastor is Michael Ellis and the first lady is Lisa Ellis.

Union Hill CFC
There will be a Pastor’s Aide program Aug. 6 at 7:30 p.m. The guests will be Apostle Melvin Blue and first lady Blue, along with Living Waters Church.
Union Hill is located at 4448 Straw Pond School Road. The pastor is Overseer Bettie McNeill.
On Aug. 7, Union Hill will have a pastor’s aide program at 7:30 p.m. Dr. D.W. Elliott and Smith Grove Church, along with Bethlehem Choir and church will render the service.

VBS At Ebenezer Presbyterian
Ebenezer Presbyterian Church will hold Vacation Bible School for children of all ages. “Camp E.D.G.E.: Experience and Discover God Everywhere” VBS is an adventure camp taking children on Bible treks to experience and discover God everywhere, every day. Each Bible trek is supported with songs, crafts, games and science activities.
The fun begins tonight from 6 to 8:30 with registration, a pizza party, games, music and other activities. Saturday, the activities continue from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m VBS concludes with a covered-dish dinner after the worship service at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Ebenezer Church is located between Coats and Benson at the intersection of Ebenezer Church Road (N.C. 1558) and Bailey’s Crossroads (N.C. 1551).

Service Set At Daily Walking In Christ
An afternoon service will be held Sunday at 4 at Daily Walking in Christ. Dr. Antonio B. and Prophetess Amichia Jones will be the speakers. They are pastors of Zion Cathedral Christian Church. The host pastor is Maria B. Robinson.

Barbecue Chicken Plate Fundraiser Set
The Abandon Youth Group of Beulah Baptist Church in Benson, located off N.C. 242, will have a barbecue chicken plate fundraiser Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. Plates will be $7 each with all proceeds being used to fund trip so the group can volunteer for Operation Christmas Child. Eat in or take out will be available. Plates will be served with boiled potatoes, green beans, bread and cake.

Women’s Fellowship Conference Set
Warren Chapel FWB Church will hold its annual Women’s Fellowship Conference Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Evangelist Ann Wilson from Wake Forest. She attends Heritage Bible College in Dunn and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and a minor in leadership. She is an ordained minister under Friendship Worldwide Fellowship Ministries with Bishop Titus Wesley.
There is no admission for the conference.

Ushers Anniversary Program At Oak Grove AMEZ
An ushers anniversary program will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove AME Zion Church. The speaker will be the Rev. Elizabeth Tinsley, associate pastor of Oak Grove. The Oak Grove AME Zion Church Choir will provide the music. The Rev. Anthony J. Davis is the pastor.

Temple Of Faith Anniversary
Temple of Faith PHC Church will celebrate its church anniversary Aug. 3-7 at 7:30 nightly. There will be various speakers. The host pastor is Christine Williams.

Women’s Day At Spring Hill FWB

Lee’s Chapel To Have Free Clothes Closet
Lee’s Chapel OFWB Church will have a free clothes closet Saturday in the church parking lot for anyone in need of clothing. The clothes closet will begin at 7 a.m. and go until 11 a.m. The church is located on U.S. 421, five miles south of Dunn.

‘Ministering To The Shepherd’ Service Set
Anderson Creek Christian Center will hold a service titled “Ministering To The Shepherd” on Sunday at 4 p.m. The guest speaker will be Apostle J.V. Porter of Christ Cathedral.

VBS To Be Held At Falcon COGOP
Vacation Bible School will be held Saturday at Falcon Church of God of Prophecy. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and commencement and a meal from 6 to 7 p.m. The theme is “Son Rock Kids Camp.”

Coats United Methodist Church To Hold VBS
Coats United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School Aug. 7 from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. and Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for ages 3 years to grade 5. Bible School At Faith Covenant Family Church

Fun Day, Pastoral Anniversary Celebration

Plate Sale Aug. 7 At McKoy’s Chapel
There will be a plate sale Aug. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at McKoy’s Chapel Church, 1986 Old Stage Road, north of Coats.
Plates will be barbecue chicken or fish with green beans, potato salad, rolls and dessert. Delivery will be available to businesses with 10 or more orders. Dine-in will be available.

Pleasant Grove Church will hold its annual women’s conference tonight at 7:30, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. Dinner will be served.

Revival Starts Aug. 12 At W.B.S.

Women’s Conference At Cutts Chapel
There will be a women’s conference Saturday at 10 a.m. at Cutts Chapel FWB Church. The speaker will be Minister Geraldine Capers from Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church of God in Lillington. There will be a $10 registration fee. Refreshments and lunch will be served in the fellowship hall.

Fellowship Baptist To Host Hawaiian Luau
Fellowship Baptist Church will host a Hawaiian luau and concert Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. Those attending the covered-dish dinner are asked to bring their favorite luau or southern-style food. The fun will continue with a hula contest and men’s best Hawaiian shirt contest. The Taylors will present a slide show of their mission trip to Kauia, Hawaii, and end the evening with a gospel sing. Trinity AMEZ To Hold VBS
Trinity AME Zion Church will hold “Get On The Move” Vacation Bible School Aug. 3-7 from 6 to 8 p.m. Using a biblical standard, the program focuses on how God’s spirit gave momentum to the Civil Rights Movement in different places, drawing the people of God towards greatness in soul through blessing, justice, truth and reconciliation. Refreshments will be served.
Trinity AME Zion Church will host a Rainbow Tea fundraiser Aug. 8 at 3 p.m. at the Woodmen of the World building, 500 E. Pope St., Dunn. The colors selected for each table are red, white, purple, green, blue orange an yellow. There will be food and entertainment.

Street Praise Outreach Ministry News

Nu Image of Erwin will celebrate its seventh anniversary Saturday at Stewart Theatre, 114 N. Wilson Ave., Dunn. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the program begins at 6. Admission is age 4 and younger, free; ages 5 to 10, $8; and adults, $15.  Featured on the program will be Darrell McFadden & the Disciples of Brooklyn, N.Y., United of Dunn, Harrington Memorial Choir of Lillington, Billy Ray & the Anointed Voices of Clinton, the Joy Sisters of Faison, and Lil Tracy & Company of Fayetteville. St. Mark To Host Youth Program
St. Mark Christian Church will host a youth program on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Joseph Coxum of Mt. Pisgah OFWB Church in Erwin. He will be accompanied by the Mt. Emmaus Road Quartet At Coats Community

Mt. Pisgah To Hold Home Mission March
Mt. Pisgah Harnett OFWB Church Home Mission Department of Erwin will hold its annual Home Mission March Sunday at 4 p.m. The preacher will be Bishop Ray Mott, pastor of Smalls Chapel Church in Four Oaks. Beginning Sunday, there will be a special service held at Temple of Faith PH Church, located at 408 S. Wilson St., Dunn. The guest speaker will be Pastor Wayne Aaron from Roseboro. Morning service will begin at 11:45 a.m. He will preach during the morning service. Sunday at 4 p.m., Pastor Aaron will teach on finance. The subject will be “The Power To Get Wealth.” The congregation of Temple of Faith will celebrate the church’s 11th anniversary  on Aug. 3-7 at 7:30 nightly. Monday night’s speaker will be announced.
