Upcoming Events At St. Mark
The public is invited to attend an afternoon program at St. Mark Christian Church on Sunday at 3:30.
The guest speaker will be Minister Addie Rawls from Shiloh Christian Church, Smithfield. Life in The Spirit Choir will render musical selections. Beginning Monday and ending Friday, St. Mark will host Vacation Bible School every night at 7.
St. Mark is located at 1104 E. Johnson St, Dunn. The host pastor is the Rev. Kenneth Wallace.

Homecoming At First FWB
First FWB Church will observe homecoming Sunday at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. Otis McMillian, director of the Bureau of Evangelism of AME Zion churches. Music will be provided by the First FWB Mass Choir. The host pastor is Elder Michael Dials.

Pastor’s Aide Service Tonight
Tonight at 7:30, there will be a Pastor’s Aide service at Covenant Ministry. Guest speaker will be Pastor James Cromwell of New Birth Ministries in Fayetteville.
CMIC is located at 300 E. Wake St., Dunn. Overseers are Dr. D. Ellington and Pastor G. Ellington.

Green’s Chapel To Hold Pastor’s Aide Service
Green’s Chapel FWB Church will sponsor a Pastor’s Aide program tonight at 7:30.
The speaker will be Elder Willie McLeod, pastor of Johnston Chapel FWB Church. Elder McLeod will be accompanied by his choir, ushers and congregation.
The church is located at 3767 Cornelius-Harnett Blvd. The pastor is Elder Craig Robinson.

Loftin To Be Revival Speaker.
Evangelist Hattie Lofton of Smithfield will speak on a Holy Ghost Revival at Good News Mission Revival Center. Services will be held July 14-16 at 7 p.m. The host pastor is Desserree Hicks. The church is located at 310 Townsend St.

Revival Concludes Tonight
Revival services at Dunamis Temple Greater International will conclude tonight at 7. The speaker will be Linda L. Williams, pastor/founder of The Word Revival Center. Dunamis Temple is located on Powell Avenue, beside Heath’s Steakhouse in Dunn.

W.B.S. To Host Youth Explosion
Win Build Christian Center will host a Youth Explosion, “Steppin It Up,” on July 18 at 4 p.m. All youth are invited to come out and be a part of an evening filled with singing, dancing, mimes, food and more. For more information, call 892-8922.

God’s House Of Prayer News
A Joy Night Service will be held at God’s House of Prayer in Dunn. A Building Fund Service will also be held. Apostle Bob McArthur Sr. will preach at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday is Friends and Family Day. Bishop Melvin from God’s House of Prayer will preach. An evening service will be held at the Church of God in Christ in Dunn, where Bishop Avery is the pastor and Bishop David McArthur from God’s House of Prayer will preaching at 4 p.m.

Sunday at 11 a.m., Pastor Leroy Smith will administer communion in conjunction with the morning service at St. Luke Church. Sunday at 4 p.m., the Rev. Gerald Cole, along with his pastor, Dr. Alfred Ferguson and Love Grove AME Zion Church family, will render a service at St. Luke.

‘Press Toward the Mark’ Revival Set
Dunn Chapel will hold its annual revival “Press Toward the Mark” on July 14-16 at 7:30 nightly. Bishop Reginald Hinton from Mt. Pisgah OFWB will be the speaker each night. The church is located on 607 E. Edgerton St. Elder Timothy Thomas is the pastor.

Mission March At Smith Grove
Smith Grove FWB Church will hold its annual Mission March Sunday at 6 p.m. The speaker will be Eldress Lettie Bryant from Mt. Olive FWB Church. She is the missionary minister for the Cape Fear Conference. The public is invited and white attire is encouraged. The pastor is Dr. D.W. Elliott.

Second Saturday Night Sing Set

Pastoral Anniversary Celebration Under Way
Holy Mission is celebrating Apostle Rosa DeGraffenried’s eighth pastoral anniversary. Tonight at 7:30, Apostle B. Aycock from New Church of Christ in Faison will speak. The speaker on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. will be Apostle Tim Smith from Citadel of Praise of Dunn. On Sunday at 11 a.m., Apostle Tribett of Grace Restoration and Deliverance Center in Dunn will speak.  Today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Holy Mission will have a plate sale at the church and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., across the street from McDonald’s in Benson.  On July 15-17 at 7:30 p.m., there will be a three-night revival at Holy Mission. The speaker will be Apostle Rosa Martin of New Birth Non-Denomination Church in Sanford.  Holy Mission Powerhouse of Deliverance Church is located 111 S. Market St., Benson. Lillington Star RFWB News
The youth of Lillington Star RFWB Church will have a youth revival tonight at 7:30. The theme is “Keeping It Real Youth Explosion 2009.” The guest speaker will be Minister Anthony Faison from Second Chance Ministries, Fayetteville. He is also the co-host of “Sunday Morning Inspirations” on 107.7 FM. On Saturday at 6 p.m., there will be a Joy Night service at Lillington Star. Special guest will be Israel. They will also have The Antioch Angels, All God’s Children Youth Choir, Expressions Of Truth Mime Team, Majestic Mime Ministries, Victory Tabernacle Youth Choir and Johnsonville Mime Ministry. Spring Hill FWB Church News
On Sunday, the Male Chorus of Spring Hill FWB Church will celebrate its anniversary at 4 p.m. Also on Sunday, Spring Hill will host home missionary with Eldress Lettie Bryant immediately after Sunday school. Men’s Day will be July 19 at Spring Hill. There will be a 200 Men in Black program. The speaker will be Bishop Stanley Carney of Deliverance FWB Church in Angier. Spring Hill is located in Godwin. The pastor is Dr. Stanley Williams Jr.

Midway PH To Host Down East Trio
Midway PH Church will host the singing group, Down East Trio of Tarboro, on Sunday at 6 p.m. The church is located on the corner of Maynard Lake Road and N.C. 55, Erwin. The pastor is Edwin Norris.
Upcoming Events At Union Hill Church
There will be a pre-anniversary service for Pastor Bettie McNeill tonight at 7:30 and Saturday at 6 p.m. at Union Hill Church, 4448 Straw Pond Road in the Midway community. There will be a surprise speaker, along with Crusade for Christ Church. It will conclude with a musical program Saturday at 6 p.m. with Swan Creek Male Chorus, McLean Sisters of Dunn, United of Dunn, Prayer Room Male Chorus of Linden and more.
Pastor and Overseer Bettie McNeill and Union Hill Church family will be at Jesus Saves on Sunday at 11 a.m. for Pastor Glenn Williams and first lady Williams’ anniversary.

VBS At McKoy’s Chapel

Golden Years Ministry Anniversary
The Golden Years Ministry Of Dunn will celebrate its third anniversary Sunday at 3 p.m. at McNeil Memorial Baptist Church, located 607 S. Magnolia Ave., Dunn. Various groups will appear on the program.

Wade Spencer In Concert July 19
Southern gospel music singer Wade Spencer from Perrysville, Ohio, will be in concert at Friendship Baptist Church on July 19 at 7 p.m. He is the oldest son of the original musical family The Spencers and travels throughout the eastern and mid-western states. He also makes trips to foreign countries for missions and to orphanages and prisons.
Friendship Church is located one-half mile south of McGee’s Crossroads, just off N.C. 50, on Greenleaf Road. A free-will offering will be received.

New Zealand Church News
A pancake and sausage supper will be held tonight from 6 until at New Zealand Church. Plates are $5.
Vacation Bible School will be held July 12-15 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at New Zealand Church. Supper will be served from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Classes are available for all ages. There will be a puppet show nightly.
The church is located at 5312 Meadowbrook Road.


Vacation Bible School will be held July 22-24 at Burning Bush Church. The theme is “The Fruits Of The Spirit.”

Holy Convocation 2009 Set July 17-19
The Holy Convocation 2009 will be held July 17-19 at Heaven Bound Church of Christ Holy Temple Inc. No. 2. Service times are nightly at 7:30 and High Holy Worship at 11 a.m. Sunday. The theme will be “Man Said, ‘It Wouldn’t Be,’ But God Said, ‘It Shall Be!’”
Bishop Albert L. Jamison will be the guest speaker on July 17. He is the pastor of Pleasant Grove Tabernacle. The Rev. Linda F. Jasper will speak on July 19. She is the pastor of Heaven Bound Church of Christ.
A Mortgage Burning Ceremony will be held July 17. A musical extravaganza will be July 18 at 7:30 p.m. with special guest choirs and soloists.
The host pastor is the Rev. Stanley S. Williams. Heaven Bound is located at 5398 Old Fairground Road, Dunn.

Faith & Power CC News
Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Faith & Power will have a “Silly Women” program, sponsored by Co-Pastor Lavern McNeill.
Sunday at 10:30 a.m., Faith & Power will have an empowerment worship service.
Faith & Power will have a Total Body Conference July 13-17 at 7:30 nightly. Will Covington will sponsor the conference.
On July 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Leadership Boot Camp will be held at Faith & Power Christian Center.
The pastors are Apostle Ron and Montrina Spears.
VBS Starts July 20 At New Hope Alliance
New Hope Alliance Church, located near McGee’s Crossroads, will hold Vacation Bible School July 20-24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme is “Kingdom of the Son — A Prayer Safari.” There will be classes for ages 3 years old through fifth grade.

Yard Sale Set Saturday
Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church will hold a yard sale Saturday from 5:30 a.m. until at the Woodmen of the World building, located at the corner of Elm Avenue and Pope Road. The Men’s Fellowship will have dinner plates available from 11 a.m. until. The plates include chicken, fish and barbecue. A choice of two meats is $7 and one meat, $6.
