Soup, Sandwich Supper Feb. 27
There will be an all-you-can-eat homemade soup and sandwich supper Feb. 27 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at New Life Wesleyan Church. They will serve a variety of homemade soup, choice of sandwich, drink and dessert. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger. All proceeds will benefit the Pleasant Grove Belarusian Children’s Ministry. New Life Wesleyan Church is located at 2967 Benson Road (N.C. 50), Garner.

McLean Chapel FWB Church News
Pledge Campaign Day will be Sunday at 11 a.m.and 3 p.m. at McLean Chapel FWB Church. During the 11 a.m. service, Assistant Bishop Dr. Benjamin Sutton will preach. The McLean Chapel Male Chorus will provide the music. During the 3 p.m. service, Elder Kent McMillian from Frye Chapel FWB Church will be the speaker. He will be accompanied by his church choir.
On March 1 at 8 a.m., McLean Chapel will hold its annual Mothers program, sponsored by the Mother Ministry. Mother Dorothy Surles is the president. The speaker will be Pastor Troy Williams from St. Timothy Christian Center. The St. Timothy Church Choir will provide the music.
The Friday Night Fire Service will be March 6 at McLean Chapel. Service time is 7:30 p.m. The speaker will be Elder James Gainey of Life in Christ Christian Center. Music will be provided by the Life in Christ Church Choir.

Plate Sale At Cumberland Street Baptist
Cumberland Street Baptist Church will hold a barbecue plate sale March 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m.
Also, the Anchormen Quartet will perform on March 8 at 6 p.m at Cumberland Street Baptist. The pastor is the Rev. Jerry Fisher.

Black Creek In Concert Sunday
Black Creek will perform bluegrass gospel music Sunday at 3 p.m. at Coats Baptist Church.

Stoney Run Fundraiser Feb. 24
Stoney Run PFWB Church will hold a fundraiser Feb. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Pizza Inn. All donations will support the Stoney Run youth on their trip to Acquire the Fire.

Black History Program At Zion Wall
Zion Wall FWB Church in Linden will hold a Black History Program Sunday at 2:30 p.m The pastor is Elder Jerry L. Jones.

Lockamy To Be Guest Speaker

St. Mark To Host Pastor’s Aid Program
St. Mark Christian Church, located at 1104 E. Johnson St., will host a Pastor’s Aid Program Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The public is invited to worship, hear spoken word, and songs of praise and adoration. The guest speaker will be Pastor Doris McClean from New Jerusalem Holiness Bible Church of God of Dunn. The host pastor is the Rev. Kenneth Wallace.

Faith & Power CC News
Tonight at 7:30, Apostle Ron Spears will speak at Faith Deliverance in Fayetteville for a minister’s pre-anniversary program.
Saturday at 4 p.m. Faith & Power will have Bowling Night for the youth.
Sunday at 10:30 a.m., Faith & Power will have an empowerment worship service. At 3 p.m., Minister Eddie McQueen will speak at Freewill in Riverside. At 4 p.m., Apostle Ron Spears will speak at Daily Walk With Christ Praise Worship Center in Eureka Spring.

Johnston Chapel FWB Church News
Johnston Chapel FWB Church will host “The Senior Stars Who Paved The Way” Saturday at 6 p.m. The speaker will be Linda Lotk from Fayetteville.
Sunday at 11 a.m., there will be a Black History Program at Johnston Chapel. The speaker will be Pastor Willie McLeod from Linden. Music will be provided by J.C. Senior Choir. A “soul food” dinner will be served after the service.

Parker, Blue To Preach Initial Sermons
Deacon Oscar Parker and Moneak Blue will preach their initial sermons Sunday at 4 p.m. at Unnion Hill CFCC. The host pastor is Eldress Bettie McNeill.

Heaven Bound COC News
On Saturday at 4 p.m., Heaven Bound will have a Black History program in honor of black American historians.

Apologetix In Concert At Glad Tidings
Apologetix will be in concert Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Glad Tidings Church. Apologetix is a nationally recognized Christian parody band. They are described as being like a “Christian Weird Al” with parodies of major bands like Linkin Park, Eminem, Metallica, the Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Group rates are available. Concessions and merchandise will also be available.

Street Praise Outreach Ministry News
Tonight, there will be a Praise, Dance and Prophet service at Street Praise. The speaker will be Bishop Governor Davis of Faith, Hope & Charity Ministry. A mime program will be performed by Bearskin Mime and songs of praise will be by Temple of Faith Praise Team. Service time is 7:30.
On Sunday, Pastor Kenneth Gainey and Co-Pastor Regina Gainey will speak on an evening service at True Disciples of Christ Church of Deliverance in Fayetteville. Service time is 4 p.m.

Blackman’s Grove Baptist Church’s Women on Mission will hold its annual barbecue chicken dinner with all the fixings on Saturday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7 per plate. Eat-in or take-out will be available.

Black History Program At Benson Chapel
There will be a Black History program Saturday at 6 p.m. at Benson Chapel OFWB Church. Music will be provided by the Benson Chapel Gospel Ensemble.

Tonight at 7:30, first lady Young of New Birth Deliverance Church will be the guest speaker at Living Waters Divine Ministries.

Upcoming Events At Faith Builders
Faith Builders Ministries will celebrate Pastor Demarius Hardy’s third-year anniversary.

Corinth FWB To Hold Yard, Bake Sale

Service Set For Carl Faison
There will be a service for Minister Carl Faison tonight at 7 at House of Prayer, Juniper Road, Faison. The guest speaker will be Pastor Carl Jones. Sunday at 7 p.m., the speaker will be Pastor Jackie London.

Bingo To Benefit Relay For Life
Unity Advent Christian Church Team 43 will hold a Relay For Life Bingo on Feb 28. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served at 6 p.m. and bingo starts at 7. Admission is $15 for a meal and two cards, $10 for ages 6-11, and free for 5 and younger. A nursery will be provided. Refreshments will be included in admission fee. Additional cards can be purchased at the door. Additional items, including autographed collectibles from the Carolina Hurricanes, Charlotte Bobcats, NCSU and UNC, will be auctioned. All proceeds will benefit the Johnston County Relay For Life Team 43.

The Whisnants At Central Baptist March 1
Southern Gospel family, The Whisnants, will sing at Central Baptist Church in Dunn March 1 at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 6 p.m. This Morganton-based group has been singing and ministering through song across the United States and Canada for 37 years.
Central Baptist Church is located four miles south of Dunn on U.S. 421 at 6050 Plain View Highway, Dunn (exit 73 off I-95).

New Vision Of Christ News
Co-Pastor Prophetess June Douglas, along with the covenant partners of New Vision of Christ Christian Center, will render services tonight at United Believers for Christ Ministries in Tarboro. This will be a “Friday Night Kingdom” service and will begin at 7:30 p.m. The host pastor is Prophetess Vickie D. Brown.
New Vision will have regular services Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Stanley Douglas will deliver the morning message. “Sunday Night Live” will begin at 6 p.m. Prophetess June Douglas will deliver the evening message.
On Feb. 24-27, Bishop Anthony Hutt of Columbia, Md., along with his crusade, will sponsor revival services at New Vision. Service time is 7:30 each night.

An Evangelistic Service will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at Eleventh Hour Ministries. The speaker will be Minister Jessie Kirksey.
On Feb. 26, Pastor Leroy Smith and the Eleventh Hour Church family will be the guests at Faith Builders in Dunn for a pastor’s anniversary program at 6:45 p.m.
On Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m., first lady Janice Lewis will speak on an intercessory service at Eleventh Hour. Pastor James Lewis and Miracle Revival Church family and choir will accompany her.

Old-Fashion Sunday At Oak Grove
