Men’s Day Program Set
Assembly Of God For All People will hold a Men’s Day program Sunday at 11 a.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Richard S. Kornegay. The afternoon service will start at 4 with the Rev. Samuel McKoy. The church is located at 2215 Murchison Road, Fayetteville. The pastor is Margaret A. Martin-Kornegay.

Williams To Render Mission Sunday Service
On Sunday at 4 p.m., the Rev. Bobby Williams and Moses Chapel Disciple of Christ Praise Team from Faison will render a Mission Sunday service at St. Luke. On Oct. 5 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Dr. George F. Sampson County Gospel Sing Set
The 91st annual Sampson County Gospel Sing will be held Saturday at the Sampson County Agri-Expo Center, 414 Warsaw Road, Clinton. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. and the program will be from 3 to 10:30 p.m. The special guest group is the Shipp Family who will perform from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Solos and duets will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m.; choirs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; and trios, quartets and quintets from 6:30 to 10 p.m. All singers and patrons are welcome.

Harvest Festival At Barbecue Presbyterian
Barbecue Presbyterian Church will celebrate its Harvest Festival Saturday. Dinner, featuring barbecue, chicken stew, sweet potatoes, slaw, rolls and tea, will begin at 4 p.m. Plates are $6 each. Dine-in or take-out will be available. After the meal, an auction will begin at 7 p.m. They will auction hand-made crafts, Christmas ornaments and other items. St. Mark To Host Benefit Program
St. Mark Christian Church will host a benefit program on Saturday for Johnny King, who is battling brain cancer. The program will start at 6 p.m. The program will have a lineup of various groups. Anderson Creek CC To Hold Pastors’ Celebration
Anderson Creek Christian Center will hold a Pastors’ Celebration Oct. 1 to 3 at 7:30 nightly, ending on Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. The pastors, Bishop Purdie and Elder Ida Elliott, are celebrating 29 years in the ministry. The church is located at 1680 Will Lucas Road, Linden.

Sampson Chapel To Honor Pastor
Sampson Chapel FWB Church will honor their pastor, Elder Timothy Thomas, on his anniversary beginning tonight at 7:30. Calvary Baptist To Serve Up Country Breakfast
Calvary Baptist Church will sponsor a country buffet breakfast on Saturday from 7 to 10:30. The menu will consist of country ham, link sausage, bacon, grits, eggs, homemade biscuits, jellies, molasses, coffee and juice. Donations are accepted for the meal. The youth will sell fall mums and pansies during the breakfast hours. The church is located seven miles east of Dunn on N.C. 55 near the N.C. 242 intersection. Dr. Paul Johnson is the interim pastor.

Temple Of Faith To Hold Conference
Temple of Faith third annual Mountain Movers Conference will be held this weekend beginning tonight at 7:30 with performances by Temple of Faith Praise Team, New Birth Praise Team and The Joy Sisters.
Saturday at 11a.m. Pastor Larry Barnes from Riverside United Holiness Church along with Jesus Saves Choir from Jesus Saves Church will be featured. At 4 p.m. Apostle Jordan from Laurinburg along with Agape Praise Team from Bunnlevel will be featured.
Sunday at 11:45 a.m. Bishop Tresvain Cain from Fayetteville will speak. The weekend ends at 4 p.m. that day with Pastor Cox and his church family from Crosspointe featured.
All services will be held at Temple of Faith Church at 408 S. Wilson Ave., Dunn, where the pastor is Christine Williams and the first man is Deacon Vander Williams Sr.

Jonesboro Baptist To Have Plate Sale
Jonesboro Baptist Church will hold a barbecue pork and chicken pastry lunch and dinner Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cost  is $7 each. It is eat in or take out at the church fellowship hall. Drive through is available. There will also be an auction at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 2020 Jonesboro Road, Dunn.

Homecoming Oct. 5 At Erwin COG
The Erwin Church of God will celebrate its 78th anniversary on Oct. 5. Special guests will be the Rev. James and Sylvia Ward from Florida who served the church as minister of music from 1969 to 1974. Members are trying to reassemble the 1971 choir to sing on this day. A rehearsal is scheduled for Oct 4 at 4 p.m. at the church. On Oct. 5, the choir will sing for the 10:45 a.m. service.  Rev. Ward will deliver the homecoming message. A meal will follow in the Family Ministries Center. The Rev. Alton Childers is the pastor. The church is located at 109 W. C St., Erwin.

Revival Concludes Tonight

Revival will be conclude tonight at God’s House of Prayer. The speaker will be Presiding Bishop E.L. Covington from Mt. Calvary HCOD in Four Oaks.
Homecoming At Roanoke Chapel
Roanoke Chapel PFWB Church will have homecoming services Sunday. Sunday school will begin at 9:45 a.m. and worship service at 10:30. The speaker will be former pastor, the Rev. Nelson Hearl.

Erwin UM To Celebrate Homecoming
Erwin United Methodist Church, located at 600 Denim Drive, will celebrate homecoming Sunday. The speaker will be the Rev. John Wenberg, former pastor of the church. A covered-dish lunch will be served following the 11 a.m. worship service. Special music will be provided by the combined choirs of the church.

Pastor Appreciation Day At Crestview
Pastor Appreciation Day will be held Sunday at Crestview Baptist Church. Pastor Don Davis will be honored. He has served the church for the past 13 years. There will be a covered-dish lunch following the worship service. The church is located on U.S. 421 East near Spivey’s Corner.

Erwin COGOP To Host Fortress
Fortress will be at Erwin Church of God of Prophecy Sunday at 11 a.m.

Eleventh Hour Ministries News
Fall revival will conclude tonight at 7:30 at Eleventh Hour Ministries. Pastor Glenn Williams, first lady Patricia Williams and Jesus Saves Church Ministries family and choir will render the service. Sunday at 4 p.m., an Evangelistic service will be held at Eleventh Hour. Minister James Fairbanks will be the speaker. ‘High-Definition’ Message Oct. 3-4
Brad Borders, an Army chaplain, will bring a “High-Definition”message to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1701 Bud Lipscomb Road, Willow Spring. Revival Set At Lillington Baptist
The Rev. Kenneth Smith, senior pastor of the Lillington Baptist Church, located on 210 W. Lofton St., invites the public to its revival at 7 each night beginning the last Sunday night of September and each Sunday night in October. Harvest Day Oct. 3 At White Memorial
The annual Harvest Day chicken barbecue at White Memorial Presbyterian Church will be on Friday, Oct. 3, serving from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Deliveries to area businesses will be available; contact them ahead of time to be scheduled. Eat-in will be available at the fellowship hall. In addition, take-outs and a drive-through will also be available. Plates are $7 each and will include one-half chicken, green beans, potatoes, rolls and dessert.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Fund to aid in relief efforts for recent hurricane-ravaged areas. Johnson Memorial To Hold Harvest Day
Johnson Memorial Church will host its annual Harvest Day on Saturday, Oct. 4. The buffet will consist of chicken pastry, fried chicken, yams, string beans, potatoes and desserts. Eat-in and take-out plates (a drive-through) will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.  Food plates cost $7 for adults and $4 for children. An auction will be held beginning at 7 p.m. A “basket of tulips” queen-size quilt will also be given away. A musical program will be held tonight at 7 at Faith Builders Ministries to celebrate the birthday of Pastor Demarius Hardy. A host of groups and soloists is scheduled to appear. Stones Creek To Hold Homecoming, Fall Revival

Stones Creek Advent Christian Church will begin a week-long series of revival services beginning with its annual homecoming observance on Sunday and continuing through Friday evening, Sept. 19.
The homecoming message will be brought at the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday with a covered-dish lunch in the church fellowship hall following. The Sunday evening service will begin at 6 and weeknight services will begin at 7:30, with prayer-rooms open at 7:10.
