Bluegrass Gospel At Baptist Chapel
A Night of Bluegrass Gospel will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Baptist Chapel Church. Featured will be Carolina Sonshine and Daniel and Samantha Casey. VBS At Fellowship Baptist
Fellowship Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School tonight at 7 and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The theme is “Outrigger Island.” There will be games,  music, crafts, food and Bible study. Children ages newborn through eighth grade are invited.

Pastoral Anniversary Celebration Set
The Love Center family will honor Pastor Walter J. Haire and first lady Emma Haire on a pastor anniversary celebration tonight at 7. The speaker will be Bishop Aubrey Mullen Jr. of Abundant Live Baptist Cathedral in Jacksonville. The celebration will continue Sunday at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Overseer Alphonso Smith of Agape Christian Center in Henderson, and at 3 p.m. with Pastor Eric Ellis of Philippian Community Church of Raleigh as the speaker.

Warren Chapel Announcements
Saturday at 7 p.m., the Pastor’s Aide of Warren Chapel Church will sponsor a “7-Up Program.” Speakers will be Minister Odetta Batts, Minister Edward Williams, Pastor Tommy Honeycutt, Bishop Gwen Davis, Deacon Albert Wilson, Minister Tony Gerald and Minister Faye Holden.

Revival Starts July 23 At Power Of Praise

Homecoming Services At Faith Covenant
Faith Covenant Family Church will hold homecoming Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school will not be held this day. The guest speaker for the worship service will be the Rev. Brian Rogers from Greenville. A covered-dish lunch will follow at Triangle South building.

Heaven Bound COC News
Heaven Bound Church of Christ will travel to Brooklyn, N.Y., for the Holy Convocation tonight, Saturday and Sunday.
On July 27, Sunday school will begin at 9:45 a.m. at Heaven Bound Church. High Holy Worship begins at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Evangelist Maxine Spears.
Also on July 27, House of Praise Ministry of Newton Grove will host a service at Heaven Bound at 4 p.m. Ambassador Eva Darden is the pastor of House of Praise.

Antioch To Hold Women’s Weekend
Antioch FWB Church will hold a women’s day weekend Saturday and Sunday. A prayer breakfast will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. The speaker will be Pastor Alice Barnes. Evangelist Rebecca Leggett will provide the music. On Sunday at 11 a.m., the speaker will be Minister Christine Hubbard of Dudley.

Faith Baptist To Hold Bible School Fun Day
Bible School Fun Day will be held Saturday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at Faith Baptist Church, 276 Neighbors Road, Dunn. There will be indoor and outdoor activities. Lunch and play time will follow. Andy Tart, son of the Rev. James and Brenda Tart, will deliver the message at 11:30 a.m. A prize will be given to the boy and girl who bring the most children.

Friendship Baptist To  Hold Revival
Revival services are planned for July 28-Aug. 1 at Friendship Baptist Church. Dwight Banks, pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Waynesville, will preach. Services begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be special singing by visitors and church groups each evening.
Friendship Church is located on Greenleaf Road, south of McGee’s Crossroads, off N.C. 50. The interim pastor is Jerry Carter of Sanford.

Street Service Saturday
Benson Revival Deliverance Center and Holy Mission Holiness Church will come together and host a Street Service Saturday at 3 p.m. The service will be held on the grounds of the Shawtown Community Building. There will be free food, gospel singing, fellowship and fun. The pastor of Benson Revival is James Avery Buie and the pastor of Holy Mission is Elder Lewis Geddie.

Point Level Disciples Of Christ News
There will be a Men’s Conference Saturday at 10 a.m. at Point Level Disciples of Christ Church. There will be different speakers and lunch will be served. Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Point Level will hold a Home Mission Program.
July 27 at 3 p.m., there will be an ushers anniversary celebration. All ushers will be in uniform. Minister Debra Stewart and Word Church of Deliverance will render the service.
Aug. 17 at 11 a.m., homecoming will be held at Point Level. Pastor Angelo Surles and St. James Disciples Church will render the service. Attire is old-fashion.
Aug. 24 at 3 p.m., there will be a gospel choir anniversary with different groups and choirs.

Anderson Creek CC News
A homecoming celebration will be held July 25-27 at Anderson Creek Christian Center. The celebration is free and open to the public
On July 25, there will be a gospel sing at Anderson Creek CC at 6 p.m. Featured will be Stella Award winners Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson & The Spiritual Voices and other groups.
On July 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a Family Fun Day at 8227 Elliott Bridge Road, Spring Lake. There will be free food (hot dogs, chicken, hamburgers), slides and jumpers, horseshoes, free blood screenings, debt cancellation seminar, information on purchasing a new home and/or vehicle, and free day care registration (one day only).
On July 27, the homecoming service will be held at Anderson Creek CC. Service times are Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and worship service (along with recognition of families) at 10:35 a.m.

Women’s Conference Set July 26
Oak Grove AME Zion Church’s third annual Women’s Conference will be held July 26 at 10 a.m. The theme is “When I Am A Blessing.” Speakers will be Dr. Gwen McNeill of Foundation Biblical Ministry, the Rev. Elizabeth Tensely of Oak Grove AME Zion and Johnsonville AME Zion churches, and Evangelist Monica Wynn of St. Stephen Disciple Church.

Annual PFWB Church Camp Meeting Starts July 27
The 2008 Camp Meeting of the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church will be held July 27-Aug. 3 at the PFWB Church Conference Tabernacle, 1107 Long Branch Road, Dunn (next to Heritage Bible College). The speaker will be the Rev. Bob Ely. The Rev. Preston Heath is the general superintendent. The theme is “Enjoying The Spirit-Filled Life.”
A nursery will be provided for ages infant to 4 years old and a Kids Camp Meeting will be provided for ages 5 to 10 years old.

Williams To Speak At Grazing Mountains Church

Tonight, the Rev. Floyd Ray, along with the Mass Choir and church family of Mt. Zion MB Church, will render a service at Riverside United Holiness in Erwin. Service time is 7:30. The pastor of Riverside United Holiness is the Rev. Larry Holmes.

Solid Rock Ministries To Host Dr. Lowery
Solid Rock Ministries will present Dr. T.L. Lowery July 26-27 at 7 p.m. at Triton High School auditorium, 215 Maynard Road, Erwin. Dr. Lowery will be at Solid Rock Ministries in Angier July 27 at 11 a.m. and July 28 at noon. July 28 will be a healing service. Dr. Lowery has been a soul-winner for Jesus for more than 60 years. Fifteen of those years, he criss-crossed the nation with a tent that held 10,000 worshippers. He has preached in scores of conventions, camp meetings and city-wide gatherings. His evangelistic ministry has taken him to 115 nations of the world.

Gospel Choir Anniversary Celebration
The Gospel Choir anniversary celebration will be held tonight at 6:30  and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Benson Chapel OFWB Church. There will be various guest choirs. The pastor is Elder Antonio C. Chrisp.
Pastor’s Aid Service Set

Spring Hill FWB Church News
Men’s Day will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill FWB Church in Godwin. The speaker will be the Rev. Cary Godwin. At 5 p.m., the Male Chorus will celebrate its anniversary. On July 27, the Gospel Ensemble will celebrate its anniversary at 3 p.m. at Spring Hill FWB Church.

Youth Gospel Explosion Saturday
Union Hill will have a Youth Gospel Explosion musical program Saturday at 6 p.m. There will be many choirs, groups and dancers.
There will also be a “doorknob building fund program” Sunday at 4 p.m.

Neill’s Creek Baptist To Hold VBS

Commencement will be Friday evening. There will be crafts, music and a message each night on growing love, joy, peace, patience and kindness.
