Harvest Time Church of God recently hosted SonRock Kids Camp Vacation Bible School for the children of the church and community. Pastor Dale Wallace issued a challenge on the first night of VBS. The challenge was that if the children raised a certain amount of money in the offerings during VBS, he would preach a message from the roof of the church on commencement night. Wade Spencer In Concert July 19
Southern gospel music singer Wade Spencer from Perrysville, Ohio, will be in concert at Friendship Baptist Church on July 19 at 7 p.m. He is the oldest son of the original musical family The Spencers and travels throughout the eastern and mid-western states. He also makes trips to foreign countries for missions and to orphanages and prisons.
Friendship Church is located one-half mile south of McGee’s Crossroads, just off N.C. 50, on Greenleaf Road. A free-will offering will be received.
